January 5th, 2007: Fatima Moriera De Melo

Fatima Moreira de Melo (born on 4 July 1978 in Rotterdam, Zuid-Holland) is a Dutch field hockey player. She has played 191[1] international matches for the Dutch national team, where she has scored 30 times. Her debut match was on 21 October 1997 against Germany which ended in a 2-1 victory for The Netherlands. She plays on the position of striker. In the Dutch national competition she has played for Tempo '34, HGC and HC Rotterdam. She was part of the Dutch squad that became World Champion at the 2006 Women's Hockey World Cup.

Besides playing field hockey she also studies law and has presented tv programs for both local and national tv stations. She also has a career as a singer. She performed the theme song for the International Hockey Federation's International Year of the Youth at the closing of the 2001 Men's World Cup Hockey Qualifier in Edinburgh. Her father is a Portuguese diplomat for Holland, her boyfriend hockey player Rob Short from Canada. In December 2006 she became Rotterdam Sportswoman of the Year and became the new face of the Rabobank in their tv advertisements.

I don't see what you guys don't like about her. She's very hot...maybe her thighs are a bit thick from her sport but she still looks great. Plus for me it's a turn on that she's not just a professional camera target.

It's all makeup and hair. The first picture is the only true glamour shot. The others are subpar. Her lips look fuller, her cheeks higher, and her skin smoother because of the job they did on her. Also note the french nails, and I wouldn't be surprised if there's some airbrushing on that shot. She also has a slightly upturned nose...the first shot is angled so that the upturn is minimized...but it's blatant on the 5th shot. She's also well-tanned and oiled, unlike all 4 other shots. The biggest difference is the eye makeup.

A lot of glamour-shot girls don't look like much before makeup...Cameron Diaz is one that I think looks absolutely ugly until the makeup guys get a hold of her.

the thighs and cankles are too thick. My GF's legs are the same way even though she feels her legs are "muscular and sexy". I over look them because she has other good qualities. I guess the GF is just being optimistic:dunno:
