does your FJ make a little squeak (passenger side rear) going over uneven road surface every now and then? Mine makes a little squeek, couldn't figure out the exact location though.

I've heard something like that from the back. It's not loud enough to really pinpoint, so far as I can tell. I'm not too worried about it. I don't hear it from outside the truck. Prolly just an interior piece rattling.

squeak is from the rear door but i could not pinpoint exactly where while backing out the driveway around the uneven curb. i lubed all the hinges and the rubber seal around the door but to no avail.
if it doesn't go away in a month or so, i'll take it in for warranty work. The Fj is tight otherwise, no squeaks or rattles on the road.

Might be the glass.

tonight i sprayed WD40 over the rear tailgate latch a little bit more aggressively than the last time.
Guess what....i've yet to replicate that annoying "click/squeak" everytime i'm backing out or pulling up the driveway at an angle as of now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
NOT...it's still there.

Can you tell the general area where it's coming from? Top? Bottom? Right? Left?
:(

back door glass hatch:thinking:
took it out for another spin ..yup, it's getting louder now. Often times only as i turn right or left. Just an annoying tiny squeak or cracking sound at the rear hatch/door.
I bought a used FJC love the car but I got the same squeak comming from the right rear passenger area. Sounds like it's the subwooofer rubbing against something. I have not taken the car in for maintance yet so please let me know if you pin point it.
